Extending the data entry bubble

During my visit at CAAA San Diego 2011, I got a chance to discuss DMNSion with some of the folks.  I was truly surprised by the amount of understanding that I got, after all, I have been pushing the idea for over ten years.

Maybe it was because of the method that I discussed it, extending the data entry bubble outwards from the confines of the office.

If you think about it, we all work in the electronic world, we type our documents in word processors and even take x-rays with equipment that requires no chemicals. But when it comes to exchanging the information, we revert back to the paper world.  We print and mail the bulk of our work.

And what happens to that paper at the other end?  We spend time and efort in converting it back to the electronic version to feed it into our systems. Would it be more efficient to keep it electronic and save all of that conversions?

That is what DMNSion does.  It allows for the safe exchange of documents in their electronic format.

And we now have a small example of what can be accomplished.  eCandidus™ has introduced the ability to take any input form and route it electronically to an iPad on the field.  Not only can you then gather the information for the case, but even capture signatures.  And then bring it back tou your office (electronically of course, no travel required) and automagically fill the case with the information, while saving the document in the Exteernal Document system.
