The File Control tool allows for the quick assignment of work product items to the current user.  This tool is used when the physical file is moved within the office.

Enter any information about the Work Product (cases, property, etc.) to link to in the text box, and press tab (or click on the Find button)

The Work Product (cases, property, etc.) found are displayed.  You can repeat the information/tab sequence until you see the Work Product item on the list.  Click on the item to select it, and click on the OK button to assign the work product item to the current user.
