Documents scanned by ScanFiles can easily be imported into the eCandidus™ Desktop using the ScanFiles tool found under Tools:Document Manager:

In order to use the tool you must have an account with ScanFiles. You will need to know your user name and password, along with the ScanFiles server where your documents are stored. You will use this information in the Settings screen in the tool:
Getting documents When you open the tool, a list of available jobs are displayed. The first two columns display the work product (case for law) entry to which the documents will be attached and the number of work product entries that matched the keys provided. The keys are displayed after the count.
Selecting a different work product In those rare cases where more than one work product is available for the keys, the first one is displayed as default. To select a different one, click on the first column, where the work product is displayed. A list of available work products is shown:
Changing the attachment name The system automatically builds the name under which the documents will be stored. You can change the name by clicking on the As column and typing in the new name.
Attaching the documents
You can attach the documents by selecting one or more jobs and then clicking on the Attach
Removing the job without attaching
You can delete the job from the listing without attaching to a work product by selecting the job and
clicking on the Delete |
