Time Sheet

The Time:Sheet screen allows each associate to review all time entries for a specific date, and to entrer entries for any date:

Key Meaning
On The date to display
Work in The format of the time column
  The Associate to display.  All entries that match on the As or By column are shown

The grid contains:

Column Options Meaning
On Date The date the entry occurred
Files # Text The file number to which the entry applies.  If the entry is invalid it will be blanked out, if valid the Files column will be filled.  Leave blank for entries that are not tied to a particular work entry
Billable Y/N/- Is the entry billable or not.  For entries pertaining to a work item (File column is not blank) Y and N are the available values.  - tells the system that the entry is in error and should not be saved.
As Link/Associate The associate to use for billing purposes
Code Text The billing code to be used.
Description Text Detailed description of the entry
Time Numeric The amount of time spent on the entry.  You can override the default mode by entering a value and then pressing m, h or u for minutes, hours and units.  The system will convert immediately
By Link/Associate The associate who entered the charge
Files Text the description of the work entry.  Entering data in this field will cause the system to search for work entries that match the criteria.

Note that when a cell is modified, the On and Associate selection boxes are disabled until the changes are saved.  Also a running total of billable and non billable values are shown in the header.

Entries made in the Time:Sheet are reflected in each file History entries automatically.
