The handling of external files, files that are already in your computer is accomplished by the use of the GPPopupAtExternal in the System:Settings GoPaperless options.

When this option is set to true, the naming box is displayed when you drag and drop a file into the External button in the case (or work product).

Note that the file name option defaults to the original document name in the naming box.
