eCandidus™ has a novel way of creating "pleading" or ruled paper. In reality these are two separate subjects:

 

Creating ruled paper

You can easily tell eCandidus™ to print any Document using ruled paper by clicking on the Ruled icon in the document command bar:

Clicking on the command does not change the document in any way, the change happens when you print:

eCandidus™ automatically adds the ruled margins.

 

Pleading or line 28 paper

Pleadings are ruled paper with specific criteria. The first is that the top and bottom margins need to be set to 0.5 inches:

The page setup screen is accessed by clicking on the Page Setup icon:

Next the font used in the document needs to be Courier New 12pt. This is set by clicking on the Font icon:

And using the settings shown:

This produces a 28 line ruled output:
